A little while ago I posted about
my own dispute with Capital one involving a charge back for services I did not receive. The charge back was not resolved in my favor due to misleading and incorrect information received by me from Capital One's call centers. Thereafter, I closed the account since I had no interest in doing business with a company that would basically lie to me when I was trying to responsibly resolve a dispute with a merchant. So, I can't say I was too surprised to hear about
Capital One getting hit with a major fine for deceptive practices.
